This film is the 28th entry in the Barbie film series. It was directed by Karen Lloyd and features the voice of Kelly Sheridan as Princess Alexa, a shy princess who discovers a secret door in her kingdom and enters a whimsical land filled with magical creatures.
Set in a modern-day kingdom, Alexa is a shy, book-reading princess who avoids doing the duties expected of her due to her rank. In order to encourage her, Alexa's grandmother gives her a storybook about a princess who discovers she has magic. While reading the book, Alexa discovers a mysterious door in the royal gardens. She enters the door and finds herself in a fantasy land.
The group learn that Malucia is trying to find the Queen Unicorn, who is the most magical creature in the realm. Alexa, Nori, and Romy travel to the Queen Unicorn, hoping to protect her, only to unintentionally lead Malucia and her minions right to her. Malucia captures the Queen Unicorn, while Nori and Romy provide a distraction so that Alexa can escape. While fleeing, Alexa discovers the doorway back to her world but decides to stay and help.

Her grandmother sees her sad, so gives her a magic book, which unlocks the secret door. When Alexa enters the secret door, she is instantly transported to the magical kingdom of Zinnia. Alexa follows magical creatures called bouncers into an enchanted forest with floating islands.
As Alexa returns to the secret door, she says goodbye to her new friends. She promises to visit them soon. Romy and Nori wave goodbye as Alexa leaves Zinnia. Later that night, Alexa performs in front of everyone at the royal ball. She is no longer shy and is happy that she is the princess.
In BARBIE AND THE SECRET DOOR, Princess Alexa, a thoughtful, book-loving princess (played, of course, by \"Barbie,\" voiced charmingly by Kelly Sheridan and sung well by Brittany McDonald), lives in a beautiful castle with her very caring family. The problem is, the princess is shy and unsure of herself, and she shrinks from some of her princess duties such as meeting new people, making speeches, and attending castle balls. She's content to stay in her room surrounded by her books, hiding from all but her family and her supportive ladies-in-waiting. When she finds a secret door, opens it, and enters a magical kingdom, her life changes forever. Fairies, mermaids, unicorns, and adorably unique little creatures live there, and they're desperately in need of Princess Alexa's help. They're fighting to protect their way of life from a formidable villain in the person of Malucia, a naughty, mean-spirited little girl with ponytails, a sneering smile, and a desire to possess all the magic in her kingdom. Princess Alexa must find the courage to do battle with Malucia, learn to value herself and her talents, and open her heart to new experiences and new people.
My fave Barbie memories was sharing our barbies together with my 2 sisters and creating a whole new world with them. We collected so much clothing and accessories. We also had the car, the camper, a pool and a dog!
My fav memory as a kis with my barbies is my brother helping me to make a house for my barbies out of my moms plan stand, it was a mansion i LOVE LOVE LOVE that my dgtr is just in much in love with barbies & cant wait to help her love barbies as much as I did as a child
When Alexa has arrived in Zinnia who which was slips into the secret door, Nori and Romy is time to meeting with her but they are worthy for their talking about Malucia, the naughty young princess who was knows in attempts to seized mostly of the magicial powers and conquering the kingdom, while her lay up to spoofs with the fairies. As her own dress was changed into the yellow, Nori is allowable with Alexa and the bouncers thinks about that she looks for the sniffers, a creatures who also smelling of Alexa's magical powers. Although Nori leads to Alexa and Romy how to stop Malucia, who have stolen their fairy wings and mermaid tail that she using the magic to teased the fairies.
Queen Unicorn is already captured, Nori and Romy are made Alexa escapes. Nori and Romy were fights with Malucia by that they are ordeal on being caught by her as well. Malucia went to attacked Alexa with the magic wands, she has only failure to against her. Alexa managed to flee on with her admits the distance, looks out a doorway in back to the world. Norri and Romy were freed because another fairy, Nola, who while deal with Malucia and being freezed by Malucia's wand. Malucia decided to freed Nola, who had cheats by her as told Nori about she have discovered the Queen Unicorn. Also, they are later following Alexa to arrived at the Malucia's kingdom, facing Malucia.
Alexa is about to return all the horns, who absorbed by the magic wand to Queen Unicorn and many unicorns, the unicrons, fairies and mermaid are returns on normals, It was over, Alexa must back to the secret door, Nori and Romy were hold on bid farewell to her. 59ce067264
